MK Detox

I have just made another detox and this time I made my own detox recipe.

My own MK detox.

Ingredients

  • I whole small lemon
  • Small green apple
  • Stalks for celery
  • Cherries
  • Basil
  • 8 oz Purified drinking water

Sorry I forgot to include the Basil leaves

Lemon has that properties that helps burn fats and cleansing.
Apple of course is know for its immune booster to keep the doctor away
Celery helps in lowering the blood pressure
Cherries for its antioxidant and anti-aging properties
Basil helps in the prevention of certain cancers.

Place the celery and basil at the bottom so it will not float and also to get all the benefits from the celery and basil.

Steps is easy:

 

  1. Prepare a clean environment
  2. Wash all the ingredients
  3. Cut in portion to fit your jug or container
  4. I usually put the celery leaves at the bottom
  5. Sprinkle with basil chopped basil leaves
  6. Then alternate the remaining ingredients
  7. Pour purified drinking water
  8. Cover with clingy
  9. Refrigerate overnight

 

The Taste

The taste is really exquisite, there is this fresh citrus taste with a sweet blend of cherry and apple flavor.  The thing that makes the difference is the celery and basil, it gave this tangy taste that lingers on your palate but not over powering the fruity taste.

It is very refreshing and invigorating, it is soothing to the throat and sinus.  I think I have made a good detox recipe.  Consume it chilled!

    It is very easy to go wrong while brewing green tea. It needs to be brewed at the right temperature, for the right amount of time. For that perfect cup of tea, the optimal temperature is 80 degree Celsius. Anything over this temperature and you risk your tea turning bitter. Green tea has a lot of elements in it that contribute to its complex flavor.

    When you brew green tea, excessive heat or over-steeping will result in a bitter, tannin-rich tea. An instant digital probe thermometer and a simple kitchen timer are valuable tools when you’re brewing tea!
